We are looking for innovative solutions to improve agricultural productivity, increase biodiversity and mitigate the consequences of climate change. The Call for Innovators - Sustainable Food and Agriculture is addressed to a broad sector of innovation, including innovators active both in Italy and Africa (teams of innovators, entrepreneurs, research bodies and university departments, not yet formally established, and/or start-ups and SMEs already formally established).

The competition will uncover not only the small businesses and their employees who are leading the charge for more sustainable, inclusive and resilient food systems, but also the ways in which they can be supported to scale up their trades sustainably.

Every two years, we bring together 100 global young leaders for networking, debates, skills training, and project development. The end goal? To equip them to take concrete action on one of humanity’s most pressing problems: how to feed a hungry planet while using fewer natural resources.
GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize 2021
GoGettaz invites young agri-food entrepreneurs (18-35 years) with technologies or innovations for the agriculture and food industry to participate in the Agripreneur Prize 2021. Two entrepreneurs (one woman, and one man) will be awarded US$50 thousand each. Submitted projects are expected to transform the agri-food business in Africa. Eligibility extends to African founders or co-founders of agriculture and food businesses.
